Hario v60 vs Aeropress

The V60 makes more coffee but you have less control of the brew time and heat can escape out of the top. The Aeropress allows you to control all the different factors involved in the brewing time in a more precise way.

How many cups can you make with Hario V60?

This model is suitable for 1-2 cups at one time.

How much coffee do you put in a V60?

Use 15 grams of ground coffee per cup of coffee you wish to make.

Are Hario v60 filters compostable?

The filter papers that are provided with this set are compostable.

Is Hario V60 dishwasher safe?

Yes it is dishwasher and microwave safe.

How do you brew coffee in a Hario V60?

Pour hot water through the filter to wet the paper and to warm up the filter and the cup/decanter. Add the ground coffee to the filter. Wet the coffee. Using a scale, pour over around 60ml of water onto the coffee and let it bloom for 30 seconds. Then add around 300ml more water to the coffee. And let it filter through to the decanter
