Is dark roast coffee stronger?

Dark roast coffee usually tastes stronger due to the nature of the roast. Other factors can effect the strength of the coffee including its Robusta content.

Does dark roast coffee have more health benefits?

There are health benefits for both medium and dark roast coffee. So depending on which way you look they are both as healthy as each other due to their health benefits. Medium roasts contains more polyphenol chlorogenic acid (CGA), an antioxidant that provides coffee with its health benefits. The more the coffee is roasted the less amount of CGA is found in the coffee. However, dark roast coffee is more effective in restoring blood cell vitamin E and glutathione.

How much caffeine is in a dark roast pod?

Contrary to popular belief, darker roast coffee does not contain anymore more caffeine than other coffee roasts. It is simply stronger due to the nature of the roast. Darker roasts of coffee taste stronger but have no additional caffeine.

Can you use pods without a machine?

You can in theory use KPods without the machine. You can open the pod and use it in a v60 brewer or a cafetiere if needed.
